Conclusion of the Summer Club (Pride Club)

On Wednesday, Rawan Association for Child Development concluded the Summer Club (Pride Club), which was held in Ramallah over ten consecutive working days in cooperation with the Arab Palestinian Investment Company (APIC). The club aimed to develop and strengthen the cognitive, social, linguistic, and communication skills of more than 30 children.

The club included a variety of motor, interactive, and emotional expression activities, such as mosaic work, collage, planting, drawing and coloring, music, and drama. It also featured educational field visits to a number of national factories producing child-friendly products, including sweets and healthy nuts.

The Summer Club formed part of the association’s individual and group programs for children with learning difficulties, speech and language difficulties, attention-related challenges, and hyperactivity.

Mr. Nasar Yaqeen, a member of the association’s Board of Directors, stated that Rawan Association, established in 2008, has played a leading role in developing remedial education in Palestine through specialized national teams with international expertise. He noted that the association serves children up to the age of eighteen who experience academic learning difficulties in areas such as reading, comprehension, and mathematics, as well as developmental learning difficulties related to attention and concentration.

He further emphasized that the association has become a nationally recognized specialized center in this field and an applied training environment for graduates and students specializing in child education and special education. He added that the association’s educational and training teams continue to strengthen their professional competencies through ongoing development opportunities and participation in international conferences that highlight Palestinian expertise in child development and education.
