On June 3, 2024, Rawan Association for Child Development, in cooperation with Russell Association for the Care of Children with Autism and Learning Difficulties, held an educational meeting titled “Children’s Behavior and the Role of Parents in Guiding and Improving It” at the association’s headquarters as part of the “Together” ACA Project. The meeting was attended by the association’s administration, the Parents Council, parents, and a number of interested participants. It was delivered by psychologist and behavior modification specialist Abdul Hamid Abu Sreha and psychologist Mona Zayed.
The meeting aimed to raise parents’ awareness of how children’s behavior is formed, the factors that may contribute to the emergence of undesirable behaviors, and the relationship between a child’s psychological state and behavior. It also addressed appropriate approaches to guidance and behavior support.
The session further emphasized the importance of the mother’s general and psychological well-being, and how this is directly reflected in her ability to provide healthy and effective care for her children.
