Attendance of the conference “Unite to support children of Autism”

Specialist Reem Yaqoub represented Rwan Association for Child Development in the sixth psycho-social health conference
  The second of the autism spectrum disorder that was held at the tourist village in Jericho on Sunday, 7/4/2019, coordinated by the Makassed Islamic Charitable Society Hospital. The conference was attended by many specialists and doctors working with autistic children from all the cities of the West Bank and the city of Nazareth.

Rawan Association provides Educational and Awareness Services for the Governorate Schools

Salam Asia finished a workshop about learning difficulties for the parents and teachers of Tal Al Rabee School in Bir Zeit.
The workshop was attended by Ms. Asaf, the school principal and a group of teachers, who participated in this workshop in the belief of the complementary role between the school and the society of Rawan in diagnosing children’s behavioral and academic problems.

Visit of a delegation from Rawan Association for Child Development to the United Arab Emirates.

A delegation from Rawan Association for Child Development represented the Executive Director. Salam Asia, and board member Dr. Subhi, and Social Affairs Officer Hamam Odeh visited the United Arab Emirates to attend the annual World Development and Development Conference in Dubai, where international, Arab and local institutions participated to help and support humanitarian projects. And the Center for Learning Disabilities in Sharjah, where it was agreed to conclude an agreement of cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of rehabilitation of children with learning difficulties, and disorder of dispersion and excess movement.
A number of governmental and non-governmental organizations, including the UAE Red Crescent Society, were also visited in Abu Dhabi.

Sixth workshop for school counselors

On Wednesday, 20/3/2019, the sixth workshop for school counselors was held on the mechanism of early detection of learning difficulties in kindergartens (basic stage) and methods To remedy these difficulties, namely:

  • Within an integrated course is 18 hours, two hours a week, where it was agreed.

Raising Awareness in Schools 2

Within the framework of the strategic cooperation plan between the Rawan Society and the Ministry of Education, the second workshop on teaching methods for children with learning disabilities was held on Thursday, 14/3/2019 in the schools of Jerusalem Governorate. Where the teachers of the schools of Al-Ram and Anata and the teachers of the inclusive education at Al-Ram Elementary School met under the supervision of the teacher and the supervisor of special education, Bassem Rumaneh.
