On Monday, March 6, Rawan Association for Child Development, in cooperation with the Russell Association for the Care of Children with Autism and Learning Difficulties, within the “Together” ACA project, held an educational meeting entitled Children’s Behaviors and the Role of Parents in Modifying them at the Association’s headquarters at exactly one o’clock in the afternoon, in the presence of the administration and the Council. Parents, families, and a number of interested parties, presented by the psychologist and behavior modification specialist, Abdul Hamid Abu Siraha, and the psychologist, Mona Zayed.
The meeting aimed to educate parents about defining behavior and the reasons that lead to the emergence of undesirable behaviors, and the relationship of the child’s psychological state to that. It also clarified the proper methods for modifying behavior.
The meeting pointed out the importance of paying attention to the mother’s general and psychological health, which directly reflects on her ability to provide proper care for her children.
